These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of johnston-karate.com (the "Site") and to text messages you receive from Dojo's Family Martial Arts ("we," "us" or "our"), located at 8805 Chamberry Blvd., Johnston, IA 50131. By using the Site or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms.

SMS / text messaging terms

Program name and description

Dojo's Family Martial Arts Text Alerts. When you opt in through the chat on our Site, we may send you text messages about the topics covered by the consent shown in that chat:

• Customer care messages: replies to your inquiry, class schedules, trial lesson and party booking details, appointment reminders, schedule changes and account notices.
• Marketing messages, when the chat consent includes them: special offers, promotions, events and news from Dojo's Family Martial Arts.

How to opt in

You can opt in by entering your mobile number in the chat on our Site and agreeing to the consent shown there. That consent is not pre-checked. The chat is the only opt-in on the Site. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and activity with us.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

How to opt out

Text STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving messages. You can also reply with CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or STOPALL. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive any more messages unless you opt in again. To opt back in, reply START or opt in again through the chat on our Site.

Classes, trials and parties

Class schedules, trial offers, prices and party packages shown on the Site may change without notice and are confirmed when you book with us. Membership agreements, waivers and party bookings may have their own terms, which will be provided to you separately.

Physical activity

Martial arts training involves physical activity and some risk of injury. Talk with your doctor before you or your child begins any exercise program. Participants may be asked to sign a separate waiver before training.

Content

All text, photos, videos, logos and other content on the Site belong to Dojo's Family Martial Arts or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our text messages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed.
